What makes me Happy!
My Wonderful Dog Oliver! and today is his 10th birthday! he is the best dog ever! he has been the best companion all this time! He loves going for walks, eating carrots, guarding the cats, playing with his favorite toy (raptor) and most of all having cuddles with me!

He makes me as happy as I could be!

What gives me goosebumps!

Getting up way too early on a Sunday morning after going to bed at about 5.30am lugging all my stuff outside for a crappy garage sale that no one but my creepy neighbour and a couple of stragglers turned up to! (the goosebumps came while I sat for about three hours in a kitchen chair watching mine and a friends stuff on my front veranda in about 7 degree weather! - I don't think the hangover helped or the creepy neighbour staring at us) I made about $8 :(

This is....

My most treasured childhood possession, this item technically belonged to my mum who in her youth was a wonderful ballroom dancer! (mum is on the left) My favorite thing to do as a child was play dress ups! I would wear her wedding dress, and dancing dresses and anything I could sew up on the our old elna sewing machine! This was my favorite dress to dress up in, and I still have, I wore it all the time - it has a little less tule now a days, but still has all the glamor of a 1970's ball room dancing dress!

Farewell Patty Paws

Darling little Patty Paws has gone back to live with his original owner - my sister! I'm so sad to see him go.... I packed him off with a new hat, his red, yellow and green collars that I had given him and plenty of kisses to his new home in Clifton Hill!



Initially I was only meant to look after him for 1 week but that was 6mths ago I had gotten so used to him its been so sad to not have him here, he was so helpful in the studio always inspecting the work, keeping my knees warm, and watching for the mail man to deliver my letters!

I know he is super happy with at his new place and I get to visit all the time and he may even get to come and live here again in the summer! I will have to get working on a crochet swim suit! (jokes)
